Down the Rabbit Hole:
Meeting the Familiar

Printed material for an exhibition of young Lithuanian artists held in Tartu (Estonia) at the Rael Artel Gallery: Non-Profit Project Space with a second edition held at the Riga Art Space in Riga (Latvia). Curated by Dovilė Tumpytė of the Lithuanian National Gallery of Art Information Centre featuring young Lithuanian artists.

I used a combination of fonts for this project, one of which is a modified cut of FUTURA BOLD with the counter removed from all circular characters. The result is a multi layered text where a morse-code-like string of letters appears within the main text. The concept was to create a 'rabbit hole' within the text itself, an alternate perspective to the obvious reality of the text.
